Hey everyone, I've been following Maria Melgar-Alas's case and noticed something curious. Her disappearance date, December 9, 2024, is a time when Lafayette usually sees a lot of college students heading home for winter break. I'm wondering if anyone else thinks there's a chance she might have been planning to travel, maybe just heading home or visiting someone? I haven’t seen any info about bags or travel plans being found. Could it be possible that she was on the move when something happened? If anyone has more insight or heard something along these lines, that'd be great to discuss! Stay safe, everyone.
