I was just reading about the fundraising efforts for Kellie Reaves' children, and it really got me thinking about how the community can come together in times of such devastating loss. It’s truly moving to see people rallying around Brooke and Jaxon during this incredibly difficult time. Having to endure the loss of a parent is unimaginable, especially so suddenly and violently. I admire the strength of their family and friends for supporting them through this nightmare. It's a sad reminder of how precious life is and how important it is to hold our loved ones close. This whole situation has left such a mark on Sioux Falls, and my heart genuinely goes out to everyone affected by this senseless act. If anyone has any other ideas or initiatives to help these kids or other families impacted, I think it would be great to share them here. Let's keep supporting one another however we can.
