I've been thinking a lot about Special Agent George Walter Henderson II's dedication to his work and the risks law enforcement officers face every day. What really strikes me is the sense of duty he must have had. At just 28, he had already served in the Korean War and continued to protect his community through his work with the Wyoming Office of the Attorney General. From what I understand, George had only been with them for nine months when this tragedy happened. It's hard to imagine how difficult this is for his wife and parents. Losing someone in such a sudden and unexpected manner must be incredibly challenging. I hope they find some comfort in knowing how committed he was to serving and protecting others. Has anyone come across any interviews or articles that offer more insight into how George approached his work or his time with the Port Hueneme Police Department? I'm interested in learning more about him and how law enforcement procedures have evolved to prevent similar accidents.
