I've been following the tragic case of Loretta Benaderet’s murder, and my heart truly goes out to her daughter Kim and the family left to pick up the pieces. One thing that strikes me is how David's mental health issues seemed to be an open secret within the family for so long. It's so frustrating that despite the red flags and the warning signs, there wasn't an effective intervention or support system in place. It makes me wonder, at what point should authorities or professionals step in when they see these patterns? It's crucial for us as a society to find better ways to support families struggling with mental health issues, so tragedies like this can be prevented in the future. I can’t imagine the pain and fear that Kim must have endured, and I sincerely hope she's finding some peace and support now.
