I’ve been following the tragic Beartusk case, and something that keeps coming up in my mind is how this impacted the small community of Big Horn. The Beartusks seemed to have roots there, and to hear that these horrific events unfolded in their own home just sends chills down my spine. My heart goes out to all the friends, neighbors, and community members who are grappling with this tragedy. It’s a reminder of how violence can ripple outward, affecting so many lives beyond those directly involved. How does a community heal from something like this? It’s an unimaginable task, but I hope they find strength in one another during these difficult times.
