I’ve been thinking a lot about Tyler's fascination with dinosaurs and snakes. It’s always the smallest details that endear us to someone, isn’t it? I didn't know Tyler personally, but reading about his interests makes me imagine what a curious, wonderful young mind he must have had. It's so hard to grasp that a life so full of promise could end in such a terribly violent way. Tyler's love for the natural world tells me he was the kind of person who looked at life with wonder, appreciating every little detail. I hope wherever he is now, he's surrounded by the creatures he loved, discovering new worlds without fear. Keeping his family and friends in my thoughts; no one should have to endure such a loss. ??
Does anyone else find it incredibly difficult to wrap their minds around how violence could intrude into the seemingly ordinary life Tyler led? I read about how much he loved dinosaurs and the natural world, and it just breaks me knowing such innocence and curiosity can be shattered so brutally. Tyler was on the brink of so many experiences – imagine all the things he might have discovered and the passions he could have pursued. It’s a heavy reminder for me about how delicate and precious life is. Thinking of his family and friends who have to carry this massive weight. How do we make sense of such tragedies?
