I can't stop thinking about Amanda and little Gunnar. I can't imagine the pain and loss they must be feeling after losing Cody in such a tragic way. He was out there protecting the community, and suddenly, they have to navigate life without him. The community seems to have rallied around them, but nothing can fill that void. I hope they find some comfort in knowing how much Cody was respected and loved by everyone who knew him. It's so important to remember the families of fallen officers—they carry such a heavy burden. Sending love and strength to Amanda and Gunnar during this unbelievably difficult time. ?
I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible, yet often unrecognized, bravery exhibited by our law enforcement officers like Officer Cody Holte. Being in such a risky line of work, it's so easy to overlook the sacrifices they make every day. Officer Holte responded to a call not knowing it would be his last, all in the line of duty and in service of his community. It's gut-wrenching to think about what his young family must be going through now. Cody's service, both in the police department and the National Guard, speaks volumes about his commitment to others. It's a tragic reminder of the fragility of life and the real human cost of violence. My heart goes out to his wife, son, and everyone whose lives he touched. Let’s not forget the legacy of courage and duty he leaves behind. ?
I’ve been following the case of Officer Cody Holte, and I just can’t stop thinking about his little boy, Gunnar. Growing up without a dad after such a senseless act must be incredibly difficult. It’s hard to imagine the kind of strength and resilience this family must have to keep going. I’m sure the community’s support means a lot to them, but nothing can truly fill that void. I hope Amanda and Gunnar find peace and healing in the love and memories they shared with Cody. His bravery and service left a mark that will always be remembered. Sending love and prayers to them. ?
