I can’t stop thinking about the friends and family of Megan Lindquist. Imagine what they must be going through, knowing that someone they trusted, someone Megan loved, was responsible for taking her away from them. I read about how she was originally from Washington, and I wonder if anyone from her old hometown is planning anything in her memory. Maybe some kind of vigilance or support fundraiser? Often when people move away, they lose touch, but tragedies like these can bring people together in unexpected ways. Megan didn’t deserve this, and neither did her family. It’s devastating to see another life cut short due to domestic violence. I hope her story inspires more awareness and action to prevent similar tragedies in the future. Stay strong, everyone.
