I can't stop thinking about the days leading up to the shooting and what the atmosphere must have been like at the Xerox building. Did anyone notice any warning signs? It's so hard to comprehend how everything changed in an instant on that tragic day. From everything I've read about Melvin Lee, he seemed like such a kind and dedicated person—how do you even begin to process losing someone like that? I hope his loved ones found some solace over the years. It’s these stories that humanize the statistics—more than just numbers, they’re about real lives turned upside down.
