Does anyone have insight into what happened to the suspect involved in Officer Milton Goocher's case? I've been reading about the tragic events of March 1, 1918, and it's incredibly sad to think about what his family must have gone through. Officer Goocher's courage in the face of such danger is truly admirable, and I'm curious about the consequences faced by the individual responsible for such a terrible act. If anyone has more details or background, especially about the legal aftermath or how the Montgomery community reacted in the days following, it would be really helpful to understand the broader impact of this event. Keeping Officer Goocher's family and colleagues in my thoughts. It's a reminder of the constant risks officers take every day.
