Calvin Leroy Randolph, known to some as Old Dog, was fatally shot in Washington, D.C., on the evening of Tuesday, January 2, 2007. The shooting happened about 9:51 p.m. in a courtyard behind the 200 block of L Street SW.

Calvin was the son of Calvin Randolph, Sr., and Rhonda McNair, and is mourned by an extended family that includes stepmother Barbara Randolph, grandmothers Thelma Wilson, Ruby McNair, and Florence Hunter, and siblings Ashley Hines, Sheila May, and Christine McKelvin.
