I can't shake the feeling of unease thinking about Toni Hammock's ordeal in this tragic case. After experiencing such unimaginable trauma, being forced to flee with her mother's killer is something that no one, especially a 13-year-old, should ever have to endure. It just makes me wonder how she managed to cope during that horrific journey and what kind of psychological impact it had on her in the long run. I really hope she was able to find support and heal somehow, even though it's hard to imagine how anyone could fully recover from something like this. Sending thoughts and compassion to Toni and anyone else affected by this senseless tragedy. Cases like these remind us of the far-reaching consequences of such violent acts on victims and their families.
