Having read through some of the details surrounding the tragic events at the liquor store on Zelda Road, I’m struck by the strength and bravery shown by Kellie Adams during such a horrific ordeal. Though severely wounded, she survived the attack—truly a testimony to her resilience. It's hard to imagine the physical and emotional hurdles she’s had to face since that dreadful night. I can't help but think about the immense bond shared between coworkers, especially in a small work environment like that. Claudine and Kellie didn’t just share job duties; they likely shared stories, laughter, and an intrinsic trust. This incident not only robbed Claudine's family and community of a cherished soul but also left Kellie with profound scars, both seen and unseen. Kellie's survival is a silver lining, but I hope she found or continues to find the necessary support and healing. If anyone knows of any efforts to support Kellie, or how the community rallied around her afterward, I’d be eager to hear more about those acts of kindness and solidarity.
