Wow, I just read about Officer Mary Freeman Smith's tragic passing, and my heart goes out to her family and friends. What hit me hard was learning how deeply involved she was with Bethel 5th Avenue Baptist Church. It’s clear she was not only dedicated to her duty as an officer but also as a member of her church community. I’m curious if anyone knows more about events or vigils her church might be holding in her memory. It seems like she touched so many lives, not just through her work but also spiritually. Her loss must have left such a profound impact on the church and the wider community.
