Hey everyone, I wanted to touch on something that’s been troubling me about Brandon Cortez Martin's case. It seems like so many of these young lives are senselessly lost, and as a community, it’s just devastating. There’s so little information out there about what led to Brandon’s tragic death, and it’s frustrating not having any answers for his family and friends who must be going through a really tough time. I can't help but wonder how the ongoing violence in places like Birmingham impacts not just the victims but everyone who lives there, always having to look over their shoulder. I hope that sharing these stories, even years later, can keep the pressure on to find justice and maybe prevent future losses. Sending strength and support to those who knew and loved Brandon. No family should have to endure this kind of pain.
