Just came across the story of Mewburn Humphrey, and it's just so distressing to think about. The fact that his murder happened inside his own home makes it all the more horrifying. Your home should be your safe haven, you know? What's really disappointing is that so many of these cases from 2009 haven't seen justice yet. It makes you wonder what more can be done to solve these cold cases. I really feel for the Humphrey family and all the families who are still waiting for answers. It's a reminder of how much work is needed in communities to curb this senseless violence. I really hope someone with information comes forward soon. How can we raise more awareness about these unsolved cases? How do y’all think we can make a difference in supporting the affected families?

Has anyone else been following the Mewburn Humphrey case from 2009? It's deeply unsettling that after all these years, there still hasn't been justice for him or his family. The fact that Mewburn was one of many victims during such a violent year for Birmingham makes it even more concerning. It's tragic that so many cases remain unresolved despite law enforcement's efforts. I'm wondering if advancements in technology or forensics since then could potentially shed new light on the case. It must be incredibly frustrating for his loved ones to be left without answers for so long. If anyone has insight or ideas on how these cold cases might be revisited, it would be great to hear from you. Thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family—hoping they find the closure they need.

Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Mewburn Humphrey case, and I keep thinking about how many cases from 2009, like his, are still unsolved. It’s really concerning to realize how many families are still waiting for answers, especially when considering that only 7 out of 72 cases resulted in convictions. For Mewburn's loved ones, the thought of not having closure after all these years must be incredibly difficult. I'm curious about what could be done differently to prevent these cases from going cold. It seems like the community trusting the police and feeling safe to come forward with information could make a difference. It would be great to hear thoughts from others who are from Birmingham or who have dealt with similar unresolved cases elsewhere. I believe every piece of information, no matter how small, could be the key to breaking the case wide open and getting justice for Mewburn and others. Let's keep the discussion going, and hopefully, someone out there will come forward with what they know. Stay safe, everyone.
