Clive Valentine was shot and killed in Northeast Washington, D.C., on the night of Monday, October 22, 2007. Police found him at about 11:36 p.m. in the 3100 block of Rhode Island Avenue suffering multiple gunshot wounds to his lower body. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene and the Metropolitan Police Department opened a homicide investigation.
Initial canvassing sought witnesses and evidence, but no motive or suspects were released publicly. The case remains open and the MPD continues to list it as an active homicide investigation; no arrests have been announced.
