This case just breaks my spirit every time I think about it. Kristin Fuller had so much ahead of her, only to have her life senselessly cut short at a New Year's Eve party. I've been particularly struck by how her parents, Sharon and Jamie, and her brothers, Justin and Jared, might be coping with their unimaginable loss. Losing a child, let alone a sibling, in such a tragic and sudden manner—it’s something no family should have to endure. Sometimes I wonder what the atmosphere at these gatherings must be like afterward. It's haunting to think about that house on Campground Church Road, where what was supposed to be a celebration ended in such tragedy. With alcohol reportedly involved, it raises so many questions on how easily things can spiral out of control. Would love to hear what others think about the impact of alcohol in situations like these and how they could be prevented. My heart goes out to everyone who knew and loved Kristin.
