Just been reading up on the John Hammond case from Wyoming, and something's been gnawing at me. Does anyone else find it odd that two separate vehicles left without confirming John's whereabouts? I mean, who leaves a remote area thinking a friend might have hitched a ride with someone else without checking? It seems pretty risky, especially given the cold conditions at that time of year!
I've been camping with friends in similar conditions, and we always make it a point to know exactly where everyone is before packing up. I'm curious if anyone knows more about the relationship dynamics within this group. Were they all close friends or maybe more of a casual acquaintance? Just seems like there might be more going on under the surface here ?. Any locals or sleuths with more insight?
Does anyone else find it odd how John Hammond's friends didn't seem to notice him missing until they got back to the campsite? I mean, it's not like the Miracle Mile is a small area, and from what I've read, Walleye Bay isn't exactly close to any camping spots. How did they all just assume he hopped in with another friend without checking? I get that it was a multi-car trip, but wouldn't you at least call out or wait to see where everyone was before leaving the fishing spot? Just curious if anyone from the area or familiar with group trips like this could weigh in. I've been out with friends before, and leaving someone behind is unfathomable. Maybe there’s more to the story than what’s been shared publicly. ?
