In the early morning hours of Monday, October 29, 2007, Randall Keith Brown was killed in the 1000 block of 17th Street Northeast in Washington, D.C. The killing occurred at approximately 1:55 AM. He was married and had five siblings.

The Metropolitan Police Department’s Violent Crimes Branch was assigned to the investigation. Public reports have been limited to requests for assistance, and no suspects have been publicly identified and no arrests announced. The case remains an open and unsolved homicide on the department’s list of cold cases.
