Has anyone else found the timeline of events on the night of the fire to be incredibly suspicious? I’ve been doing some deep dives into this case, and the series of things that went wrong just seems way too convenient for this to be a simple house fire tragedy. First off, that mysterious phone call that woke Jennie up has always struck me as odd. Who would be calling at that hour, and why was there laughter involved? Plus, wouldn’t you think if you cut the phone line outside, you’d risk waking someone inside? Then there’s the whole issue with the ladder missing and the trucks not starting. It feels like someone might’ve been trying to ensure they couldn’t get those kids out. Also, the fact that no remains were found doesn’t sit right with me, either. Anyone else find this too much to be a coincidence?
It’s strange to think about all the peculiar details surrounding the night of the fire at the Sodder home. It almost feels like an eerie script out of a mystery movie. The thing that always gets to me is the ladder being missing and the trucks failing to start. How can both those key rescue avenues fail at the same time, just when they’re needed the most?
I mean, sure, faulty wiring might cause a fire, but getting past things like loud thuds on the roof, a creepy phone call, and a snipped telephone line, it just feels like more than a mere accident. How does a ladder that’s always in one place just disappear overnight? Then, both trucks not starting, almost like someone went out of their way to make sure they couldn’t use them… doesn’t add up.
I guess my question is, has anyone dug deep into the mechanical side of the case? Like, were there any experts who investigated the trucks or what might have happened to the ladder? It’s like a jigsaw with so many missing pieces, and the more I think about it, the more I hope there’s something that can finally provide an answer for the Sodder family.
