Has anyone else noticed how Randy's kayak, being inflatable, would have been affected by the weather conditions on the day he went missing? I mean, anything from strong winds to tides could easily have pushed it off course, or maybe even deflated it somehow. It makes me wonder if he had backup plans for situations like these, especially since kayaks can be a bit unpredictable, even for experienced paddlers. And the fact that his keys and wallet were with the jacket but the food bag was missing—it’s almost like he went to start a campfire somewhere and didn’t make it back. The water around Chuckanut and Lummi has always freaked me out a bit with how swiftly it can change. Hopefully, more can come to light from folks who were familiar with the water conditions there around that time.

Has anyone else found it odd that Randy R. Sitter would leave his food and personal items behind? This part of the case has always puzzled me. If he was such a cautious kayaker, wouldn't he have double-checked that he had everything with him, or made sure that his important stuff was secure? It seems too strange for someone like him, who clearly had a meticulous nature, to just forget about his food and personal items. Could there be some significance to why these things are missing? I hope the Bellingham Police have looked into all possibilities, including whether someone else might have taken them from the shore. Thoughts?
