I've been following Bernard V. Schieber's case since he went missing and I just can't seem to shake the question of how far he could've gotten with a quarter-tank of gas. Given the state of confusion he was in, it seems plausible that he could have taken an unexpected route or even doubled back without realizing. I wonder what search efforts were conducted along potential routes between Yakima and Caldwell, Idaho? It seems like those areas could still hold some clues, especially since his truck was found on the Yakama Reservation. Could he have been trying to take a back road to Caldwell? It's worrying that despite the truck being found, there's still zero trace of where Bernard went. Also, has there been any update on whether locals in or around the reservation saw anything unusual back then? Would love to know more about this theory or if anyone's heard about unexplored routes he might have taken.
