It's just so eerie thinking about the run-in Keli and Gary Ridgway had with the law months before she disappeared. Imagine being that police officer and realizing later that you had both victim and killer right there. I wonder if Ridgway used the same tactics to lure in all his victims or if there was something different with each case. The fact Keli gave an alias makes you think she was always in a state of caution, living on the edge. It’s chilling how those few moments could’ve changed everything if things had gone differently. Do you think it's possible that her remains are still somewhere near Lake Fenwick, or did Ridgway move her elsewhere entirely? It’s mind-boggling how he could misremember the details after admitting to so many similar crimes. But that doesn’t bring Keli home. My heart goes out to her daughter, left without closure or answers.

Did anyone else find it unusual that Keli used an alias of "Jennifer Kauffman" when she was stopped by police with Gary Ridgway back in February 1983? I know it wasn't uncommon for sex workers to use aliases, but I wonder if there was more to it. Could she have been trying to start a new life or protect her identity in some way? It's just curious because if she was already contemplating getting out of that world, why stay involved with someone like Ridgway, especially after that run-in with the law? It makes me think she might have had plans that got tragically cut short. Also, the fact that Ridgway confused her with another victim raises so many questions about how many women got caught up in this. Thoughts?
