Does anyone else find it eerie that search teams discovered Richard Rex Lee's car and campsite but never found any other sign of him? I've been reading a lot about disappearances in the wilderness, and it always seems to start with finding the car and then... nothing. And the bit about the food being properly hung up for bears makes me think Lee was in complete control at the camp, still in an organized mindset. I can’t shake the feeling that something odd happened. Maybe he left the campsite with intentions of exploring further or perhaps diverted to help someone? Have there been any reports of unusual activity or other missing persons in that area around the same time? Sometimes, a small piece of info breaks open a case.

Hey everyone, I wanted to discuss something interesting about Richard Rex Lee's disappearance. I’m curious about the snowstorm that hit while he was out there. I know the weather on the day he left was supposed to be perfect, but they got up to eight inches of snow all of a sudden. I wonder if it caught him off guard and he tried to find shelter. The timing of that storm seems like it could have played a significant role in his disappearance. Has anyone here experienced how quickly the weather can change in the Colchuk Lake area? It must be terrifying to be caught in such conditions unprepared. It makes me wonder if there were signs of the weather changing that maybe weren’t picked up on during his last contact. Any thoughts on how the sudden weather shift could have impacted his location or survival chances?
