Was anyone local to Shelton back in '91 when James Davis Lane went missing? I'm curious if there were any rumors or local buzz about what might have happened to him. Sometimes, small towns have whispers or unspoken stories that never make it to the larger media outlets. Was Shelton going through any major changes or facing specific issues back then that could be relevant? Any insight from longtime residents or those familiar with the area around that time could be helpful. This case has so little info, and it’s frustrating to see it remain cold for so long.
It's been over three decades since James Davis Lane vanished from Shelton, Washington, and one of the things that's always puzzled me is why there seems to be such a lack of concrete information from the time he disappeared. There are so few details about that day or even what he was up to right before he went missing. I've noticed other cases from around that time period often have more info released, so it makes me wonder if there was some sort of mix-up or oversight at the beginning that caused a loss of crucial details. It's frustrating because the more people discuss the few bits of info we have, the more it feels like we're stuck in a loop. Has anyone come across old articles or lesser-known sources that might shed light on his activities prior to going missing? Sometimes niche forums or archives that aren’t widely known can have nuggets of information.
