I've been digging into John Edward Fleshman's case, and something that's been puzzling me is the tattoos. Every article and post mentions that he had tattoos on his head, arm, and elbows—but no details about what these tattoos actually were. Does anyone know if they had any particular significance or if someone might remember them for that reason? Identifying tattoos could be such a strong clue in narrowing down or confirming sightings. It's always seemed strange to me that no one could recall anything else standing out about the tattoos. Any chance someone local or friends of his might remember more about them? Maybe there's a photo out there with more detail. Just a thought.
Something that's been niggling at me about John Fleshman's case is the mention of his tattoos. I know tattoos are really personal, often carrying special meanings or stories. I haven't seen much discussion about them elsewhere, but I wonder if anyone has more info on what they were or represented? I feel like sometimes details like this can be overlooked but might actually offer some insight. If any locals or those familiar with the area have thoughts, I’d love to hear them. Maybe understanding more about his personal side could shed light on his disappearance.
