Hey everyone, Just stumbled across the case of Jose Luis Castro, and something that strikes me as really baffling is the obvious lack of media coverage on it. I mean, it seems like there was hardly any public attention given even when he first went missing. No news articles popping up during a quick search, no FBI involvement that I could find, and not even the usual missing persons alerts that might have raised more awareness back in the day. Given that Pasco isn't exactly a tiny town, you'd think someone would have seen something or at least caught wind of the disappearance in the community. Does anyone here have any insights on whether his case ever received local news coverage or if there were any dedicated search efforts? It seems like it just faded away, and we all know how crucial initial media exposure can be in these kinds of cases. Hoping to hear your thoughts or if anyone has more info on how this was handled back then! Stay safe out there.
