Has anyone else been thinking about how the community pulled together after Heather's tragic accident? I’ve been reflecting on how easily something like that can fracture a community, but in her case, it seems like Aliceville really leaned on each other for support.
It’s comforting to see so many people were touched by her kindness and love for life. Heather's spirit clearly left a mark on everyone around her. Given that she was such a beloved figure, I can't help but think about how her legacy is continuing in her family and the community's determination to honor her memory. The memorials to Children's Hospital also show how they're channeling their grief into something positive. Heather would probably love that, especially as a mother.
Do any locals here have insights into some of the ways this has brought the community closer? Would love to hear more about how people are remembering her these days.
