Has anyone else noticed how puzzling it is that the Burbank Police Department in California is handling this case? It's been really confusing trying to piece together why that's the case when she disappeared in Virginia Beach. I keep thinking there must be some sort of clue or lead that led them to get involved, but nothing's been said publicly from what I've seen. Does anyone have any insights or possible reasons why this change in jurisdiction happened? It complicates things for sure, and I just hope it’s helping to move things forward. If anyone has experience with cases being handled by agencies far from where the incident occurred, I’d love to hear your thoughts or theories on this.
