Has anyone else been following Joshua Matthew Stephens' case? I was digging through some old online articles and found that he went missing in Chesterfield County, Virginia. He was last seen in April 2023 at the Pilot Travel Center, which seems to be a pretty busy place. He kept in touch with his family for a while, but all communication stopped after July 27, 2023. Given that he didn't have a permanent address, I wonder if he was living a transient lifestyle and that contributed to the delay in reporting him missing. It’s so odd that months passed before he was officially reported missing in December. I feel like this could be a crucial detail in understanding what happened. Would love to hear what others think might be behind the delay and if there are similar cases out there with long gaps between last contact and reporting. Any thoughts?
