Fifteen-year-old Ryan T. Harris was shot and killed in northeast Washington, D.C., on March 16, 2008. The shooting took place in the 3100 block of Apple Road, NE, sometime between midnight and 2:07 a.m. Ryan was born August 11, 1992. He is survived by his mother, father, two sisters, a brother, and other relatives and friends.

Details about what led to the shooting are scarce. The Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch is investigating, and a reward of up to $25,000 was offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction. No arrests have been publicly announced and the case remains open.
