Does anyone else feel incredibly saddened about how Brandon Brown had his whole life ahead of him and had it all taken away so suddenly? I can't stop thinking about the fact that he was a soon-to-be father. The legacy he was building—not just as an athlete but as a person—is something his child will unfortunately not get to know firsthand. It's heart-wrenching to see such wrongful acts have such far-reaching consequences. Seeing the Wetumpka community come together to honor his memory with vigils shows an incredible amount of strength and unity. I hope it serves as a reminder to us all about the importance of fostering peaceful environments for our young ones. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family and future child, who will grow up only knowing Brandon through stories and memories shared by those who cherished him.
