Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Marquez Walker, and there’s something that’s been on my mind. It's really upsetting to think about how fear might be playing a big role in holding back information from coming to light. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for the community, feeling torn between wanting to help and fearing what might happen if they speak up. Marquez sounded like such a genuine person with so much ahead of him, and it’s just tragic that his family is left waiting for answers. I wonder if there’s any way for law enforcement to offer more protection for potential witnesses to help them feel safe enough to share what they know. Have there been any updates on programs or resources for witness protection in the area? It's so important that we keep talking about this and try to find ways to support each other so that Marquez’s family can get the justice they deserve. If anyone from the community is on here, my thoughts are with you all during this unimaginable time. Stay strong.
