Has anyone else read about the plea deal in the Antonio Hernandez and Joshua Davis case? The fact that Amani Goodwin pleaded guilty to those charges and received a life sentence is really weighing on my mind today. It speaks volumes about the seriousness of the crimes, but it's hard not to think about everything that's been lost, especially for the families involved. While justice is a must, I can’t help but feel a profound sadness for Antonio’s loved ones. A young life cut short in such a senseless act of violence is something that stays with a community. I'm hoping for peace and healing for everyone affected. Has there been any word on how the families are coping with the outcome?
