Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about Jerry Lamario Caudle Jr.'s case and wanted to discuss something that’s really been on my mind—how the community came together after Jerry's tragedy. I didn’t know him personally, but from everything I've read, he seemed like a genuinely good person, loved by many. His funeral service at Pentecostal Lighthouse Church seemed to be a significant moment for friends and family to remember and celebrate his life, in spite of the pain. Acts of violence like this one not only devastate families and friends but also have a ripple effect on the entire community. It’s haunting to think how that night changed so many lives forever. I hope the unity shown by the community back then continues to inspire more positive changes moving forward. Let’s keep the discussion on how we can work towards change going. If anyone remembers any other gatherings or vigils held in his memory, I'd love to hear about them and how they might have helped folks cope. Honor his memory by continuing to share love and support.
