I can't stop thinking about the logistics of the charcoal purchase in Mara Nikki Vestal's case. 100 pounds of charcoal? That's a significant amount, like way more than any normal barbecue would need. It just makes me wonder, didn't anyone at the store find this suspicious? I mean, this isn't a small town where you can fly under the radar. There had to be security cameras, right? Plus, if he went through with such an extreme and horrible act, it makes you really question how premeditated this was. Hammersley apparently managed to carry out this whole sequence of trying to dispose of her remains without raising any alarms, and to me, that's just chilling. Wouldn't neighbors notice someone messing around in their shed with all that smoke? Even if everything happened at night, it seems like there could have been more missed opportunities for people to notice something was terribly wrong.
