Has anyone else been trying to piece together info about James Stelly's case? One thing that stands out to me is the Yosemite Sam tattoo on his left arm. It's a pretty unique detail, and I can't help but wonder if it's ever attracted any attention or leads. Tattoos can be so personal and distinct—sometimes they're tied to specific events in a person's life or could even hint at connections with people or places.
I find it odd that more information hasn't come out since his disappearance, especially with the efforts by Texas EquuSearch back in 2017. It makes me question if the tattoo was ever shown around or if it led to any helpful sightings. Maybe someone out there has seen it and just didn't put two and two together. Anyone local to Houston remember seeing a tattoo like that around the time he went missing? Let's keep talking and searching. Anything we can gather might help push things in the right direction.
I've been following James Stelly's case for a while, and something that puzzles me is the lack of media attention it received. Seems like there was hardly any coverage when he went missing or even during the Texas EquuSearch efforts the following year. With so little information available to the public, it's frustrating to see cases like this not getting the exposure they need. I wonder if there are other missing persons cases in the Houston area that have faced the same issue. It makes me think about what can be done to keep these stories in the public eye longer or make sure they don't get overlooked in the future. Anyone else have thoughts on why some cases don't gain the media traction that others do?
