Maurice Pearson, 29, was fatally shot on Thursday, June 26, 2008. His body was found in the 800 block of Xenia Street SE in Southeast Washington, D.C.; he was originally from the nearby 800 block of Barnaby Street SE. The Metropolitan Police Department Homicide Branch investigated the case and the department publicly offered a reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
