Daniel Prandy, a Washington, D.C. resident, was killed in a shooting on Wednesday, July 2, 2008. Authorities have at times suggested the violence may have been retaliatory, but the specifics of the incident — including the exact location, what led up to the shooting, and whether there were witnesses — have not been publicly detailed.

Investigators opened a homicide probe, but the trail has gone cold and Prandy’s death remains an unsolved case on the city’s list of homicides.

If anyone has information about Daniel Prandy’s death or remembers events from that July day in 2008, please come forward.
