Hey folks, I wanted to bring up something that's been bugging me about Deborah Suzzette Hernandez Moberg's case. Does anyone else find it odd that the exact location Ray stopped at, with the cattails and telephone poles, hasn't been pinpointed after all these years? I mean, surely someone might remember a red Ford Mustang being in an unusual spot, even back in '87. With the description the half-sister provided, it feels like this is a place that should have stood out due to the unusual activity. Could it be that people were just not keen on reporting suspicious vehicles back then, or is it possible that locals are aware but somehow it slipped through the cracks? Any thoughts on this or suggestions on how such areas can be retraced with today's tech? Hoping some fresh eyes on this case might help.
I can't stop thinking about the detail concerning the body of water with cattails and telephone poles. Could this location have been significant in Ray's life or did he have any connections to that area? It's possible it was a place he felt comfortable or familiar with if he stopped there to discard evidence. Has anyone looked into these places around San Antonio that fit this description more recently? Even though it's such a long time ago, advances in technology or even geographic changes might give new clues. Also, does anyone know if any other unsolved local cases around there were reviewed in light of what he did to Deborah and the other kids? I know it's a long shot, but maybe there's something linking those locations to other crimes from back in the day that haven't been solved.
