Hi everyone, I’ve been reading through the threads about Randall Dewayne Lee and something really caught my attention – the mention of his nervous condition and obsession with religion. It makes me wonder whether his vulnerabilities might have led him to interact with individuals or groups with questionable motives. The border region he was traveling in has had its fair share of fringe religious groups over the years. Is it possible he sought solace with one of these groups and ended up in an unfortunate situation? Or perhaps he was manipulated due to his mental state? I haven’t found much on whether this angle was pursued in the investigation, but it seems like it could be relevant. Thoughts? Would love to hear if anyone knows more about religious group activity in that area around 1985.
