Randall Dewayne Lee, 34, was last heard from on August 15, 1985, when he contacted his father. Lee, a resident of Tyrone, Oklahoma, stated his intention to travel from Del Rio, Texas, to Eagle Pass, Texas, a distance of approximately 55 miles, in search of employment. Both cities are located along the U.S.-Mexico border. It has never been confirmed if he reached his destination, and no one has reported hearing from him since.
Accompanying Lee was his vehicle, a rust-colored or copper-colored 1977 Chevrolet 210-series pickup truck, which also vanished. The truck had an Oklahoma license plate with the number 851-1203. While some reports initially described a different vehicle, family members clarified that he was likely driving the copper-colored Chevrolet pickup. The investigation into Lee's disappearance is being handled by the Liberal Police Department in Kansas, as his family resides in Liberal.
At the time he went missing, Lee was described as being "obsessed" with religion and was known to have a nervous condition. His physical characteristics included light brown hair, hazel eyes, and the need for thick prescription eyeglasses with dark frames. He had several distinguishing scars, including on one or both wrists, his right eyebrow, and numerous scars on his hands.
