I find it so puzzling that Joshua's truck was found locked with all his belongings inside. Given that he was going hunting, it seems odd that he left everything behind, even his phone. Was it common for him to go hunting without it? Some hunters do leave their phones to enjoy some peace, but in this day and age, isn't it more typical to keep it handy for emergencies or location tracking? Also, the Exotic Cat Refuge sounds like a unique place to go hunting. Does anyone know if it's heavily forested or if there are any specific features that might complicate a search effort? With the new evidence found on County Road 418, I'm hopeful it sheds more light on the situation. Curious to hear what others think about this case and what might have happened on that property.
I’ve been following the Joshua Ian Larkin case for a while now, and something struck me as odd about the search efforts. Did anyone else notice that they didn’t mention any specific wildlife interference at the Exotic Cat Refuge where Joshua was supposed to be hunting? I mean, with it being a place for exotic cats, you’d think any search efforts would have to consider potential interference from the animals or safety protocols for the search teams. Surely the animals there played some role in either the investigation or limiting the areas that could initially be searched. Do you think this could have impacted what was or wasn't found in the early days? Especially given that his belongings were left untouched, it just piques my curiosity. Would love to hear other thoughts on this.
