I've been following the discussions about Dammion Darrell Farmer's case, and something that's been on my mind is the impact on the Frayser community in Memphis. It seems like this neighborhood has been through so much, especially with the rise in homicides back in 2016. I can't even imagine the kind of fear and grief the residents felt during that time when losing someone became a frequent nightmare.
It’s deeply concerning that this wave of violence has affected so many families, including Farmer's. He was clearly loved by his community, and his loss must have left a huge hole in the lives of those who knew him. What initiatives or community efforts have been put in place since then to help combat this violence? Are there local organizations working toward safer streets and supporting families like the Farmers?

Just came across Dammion Darrell Farmer's case again, and something that's been haunting me is thinking about the lives of families who go through such devastating loss. In the midst of this tragedy, it’s a small comfort to know that someone was held accountable, but the void left behind can never truly be filled. My heart goes out to everyone who knew him, and I truly hope his family has found some peace since that terrible day.
