I've been following the Kenneth Ashley Norman case for a while, and I find the conflicting information really puzzling. Something that's been bothering me is the obituary from the local funeral home. How can they list him as having "passed away" if there's no official confirmation from the authorities? And if they held a memorial service in 2022, does that mean the family has accepted that he likely won't return, despite his ongoing status as a missing person? It just seems odd to me that both the memorial and the search for him exist simultaneously. I wonder if anyone on here has any insight into how these situations usually work. Could it be that the family has more information that's not public, or is it a case of wishful closure within the community?
