Hey everyone,
I've been following the case of Latrice Shay Armstead, and something's been bothering me about her abandoned car situation. Her Acura was found burned near Little Simmons Road, which is quite a distance from where she was last seen in Memphis. Given how rural the area is, it seems odd that someone would just randomly set a fire there—it’s not exactly a “high traffic” spot.
I wonder if there’s more significance to that location? It’s an area that would've taken some forethought to get to, so maybe it holds some kind of importance to the perpetrator(s). Could it have been chosen because it was out of the way and secluded, making it easier to avoid witnesses? I also can't help but think about how dangerous it would be to drive around with a car that you've planned to set on fire.
Does anyone have thoughts on this or live near the area and recall any other strange occurrences around that time? Always thinking about her kids and hoping for justice.
Has anyone else noticed how frustrating it is that Latrice's car was found all the way in Mississippi? I can't stop thinking about that. It’s such a weird place to abandon a car unless someone familiar with the area wanted to hide evidence. Clarksdale isn’t exactly a high-traffic spot. I’m curious if there have been any searches in the area or if someone local might have seen something suspicious around July 31, 2012? It’s been over a decade, but maybe speaking up could spark something. If no one's checked in with locals or pushed for more searches, that feels like a big miss. What does everyone else think?
