Something that always stuck out to me about Cindy Song's case is the role her family played after the initial search of her apartment. I get that they were trying to help and wanted to keep her space tidy, but them cleaning up might've been a huge setback for investigators. I've read about cases where even the smallest piece of evidence can crack a case wide open, and it makes you wonder if something crucial was inadvertently lost. It's a reminder of how important it is to preserve everything in situations like this, even when every instinct is to just start cleaning and organizing. I really feel for her family—they came all the way from South Korea, desperate to find answers, but they might've unintentionally lost a chance to provide a big break in the case. It's just so tough.
