Did anyone else find it odd that Jack decided to swim out into the Siuslaw River that night? I've been around that area for years, and the water is always insanely cold, even in the spring. With the alcohol and drugs in his system, you would think it'd be even more challenging to deal with the low temperature. And why swim at night? It seems so risky. Could there have been something else going on that made him act out of character? Just something that’s been nagging at me since this case was first reported. Does anyone know if the search teams found any other signs or footprints along the shore afterward? It's tragic that there were no signs of him—so curious to hear more thoughts on this strange case.
