Has anyone looked into the jurisdictional issues that delayed the investigation in Kenny Weaver's case? It’s infuriating to think that it took five years for a missing persons report to be officially accepted. I feel like this is such a critical detail that hasn't been discussed as much. How common is it for jurisdictional disputes to impact cases in areas around state borders? And why couldn’t the agencies involved come to an agreement sooner? It’s tragic that precious time was lost due to bureaucracy. I wonder if this was ever resolved to allow smoother operations in joint-state areas for future cases. Would love to hear insights or updates if anyone's familiar with similar situations or with how such things are handled today!
